Appraiser Licensing and Certification
Appraiser licensing and certification requirements do vary somewhat from Province to Province.

Cal is a designated member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada as a CRA ( Canadian Residential Appraiser ) and
has been granted this designation after completing an educational program, a practical program and sucessfully completing both written and oral assessments through the Institute to be granted the use of this designation. The certification is evidence that the appraiser has performed a certain number of hours as a trainee under the supervision of a practicing appraiser, has passed examinations, and is required to complete a certain number of hours of Continuing Education Training each year.  Members of the Appraisal Institute of Canada prepare appraisal reports as specified in the Canadian Uniform Standard of Property Appraisal Practice.  Additional details may be found on the BC Association of the Appraisal Institute of Canada web site www.appraisal.bc.ca or the National site www.aicanada.com
